Presented is a lovely antique Chinese carnelian sterling ring.
This piece has a unique design with open metalwork and domed shape. There is a carnelian cabochon in the center. It is marked STR 925 on the edge on the band. It is not marked China, but looks Chinese in origin.
It is an adjustable size 8-1/2.
This ring is in very good condition with minor wear to the metal, commensurate with age. The wear is mostly on the interior portion of the domed area. The carnelian stone has no chips or cracks.
A very rare beautiful ring!
